Food Systems Summit (FSS) will be held in September 2021, during the high-level week of the United Nations General Assembly. It will be convened by the UN Secretary General, Mr. António Guterres, as part of the Decade of Action to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda.
In preparation of this Summit, Kuwait represented by the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition (PAFN) will organize national Food Systems Summit Dialogues. Following this innovative approach, interested stakeholders are invited to contribute to the Summit by discussing their role in food systems, reflecting on new forms of joint action, and contributing to building the food systems of the future.
This first dialogue will provide an opportunity for stakeholders to address the issue and highlight on the challenges, potential, and opportunities – of their food systems in a virtual meeting format.
