What an experience! I hope 2022 will see more in person conferences.
The Food for Future Summit & Expo 23-24 Feb 2022, Dubai UAE was truly a showstopper. Gathering stakeholders from Governments, MNCs, SMEs, Innovators and Investors. It was a unique experience to see the World gather in the GCC to discuss Food Security, Food Production and of course Alternative Proteins! I truly thank the organisers وزارة التغير المناخي والبيئة Ministry of Climate Change and EnvironmentNEOM for spearheading this event and to Andrew Yip, PhD for inviting me to attend.
We were blown away by HE Mariam AlMheiri’s commitments to Food Security, Environment and Climate Change. She is a powerful force with so much charisma and grace, truly a fresh face for the region. كل الفخر والإعتزاز بإنجازات دولة الامارات !
It was amazing to meet John Eng and Dr. Mohamed Ali in person for the first time and so many legendary alternative protein ecosystem players Eva Sommer, Varun Deshpande, Pei Wen Law, Brenda Hobin, Ahmed Khan, Riana Lynn, Carissa Campeotto, Alex Ward, Miguel Calatayud, Alvyn Severien, Christine Gould, Melissa Ong, Mark Tester, Thomas Hayes, Shadi Tawil!
