Another successful WOMAG event. We pulled off an extraordinary feat, coordinating a networking event during the busiest time of the year in Singapore. During the SIAW (Singapore International Agriculture Week).
The topic was On the Road to COP28: Demystifying #transitionfinance and #carboncredits.
WOMAG is a volunteer led organisation and this event would not have happened without the support of our gracious volunteers Karnika Arora Puri, Elynn Lee, Janice Tham, Xin Yi Lim, Ying Foo, Pranav Sethaputra and president Vivian Sia for ensuring we had the best venue partner Stephenson Harwood LLP Singapore Alliance. Thank you Michelle Yong, Jan Weidlich and Marilyn Quek for hosting us at your beautiful venue.
Thank you to our distinguished speakers BreeAnne Yek (MC and Keynote we caught her when she was in Singapore before she flies back to the US) Chan Jin Wei Louis, ISSP-SEA (moderator who graciously offered to scope out the full panel discussion and executed it timely and perfectly), Hari Nair (for doing 2 events back to back!), Cheryl Bowler and Chris Argent (panelists with very busy schedules).
The moral of the story is everyone is busy, but we all make time to do these events for the business community.
